Hollingsworth is a cute cat with a personality big enough to need his own blog!

Jackson!

Hi Everyone!
I hope you are well! I am so honored to have so many concerned friends out there wondering how I'm doing, especially after the hurricane evacuation! I can't think of a better way to spend my Friday night than to take the time to update my blog. First, things in the Big Easy were going well until the hurricane. I didn't know what to think when my mom and Nathan started packing up and moving all the furniture. I just got here! It was so hot outside, and the car ride to Jackson didn't go well (luckily I got in a great nap before we left- as you can tell from the first picture). I was hot and started panting, so then my mom freaked out and called the vet to make sure I wasn't on my deathbed. Anyway, I finally settled down (note the second fine picture) during the long ride. Then I got to the PetsHotel, which I didn't really like. It was nice, don't get me wrong, but small and unfamiliar. I didn't really understand what was going on, but I warmed up after a day or two (and finally got my appetite back!). In fact, when I finally got picked up to return to the Big Easy a few days later, I had a glowing "Paw-gress Report". My new friends described me as "very sweet and loving", a "party animal" during play time, and "the sweetest cat all week". It's true! However, I was ready to get back to familiar places so I did my best to help drive on the way home (see how I got really close to the gear shift?). It's so good to be back, and I've been sleeping and playing all week. I even drew this impressive self-portrait. I promise to write more soon!

XOXO,
Hollingsworth

Movin on Up

Hello! I'm sorry it's been awhile since my last post. So much has changed, and I'm still getting settled. In the last week, I've had my first experience with kitty Valium (it was fun!), my first plane ride (very scary!), and I arrived at a new home. I was definitely freaking out, but so far I really like it (especially on top of the kitchen cabinets!). Things do not feel normal yet, but I think I'll get used to it soon...once my mom arrives! As you can see from this picture, I was also spoiled with a luxury cat carrier.

Ghost Eyes!

There have been several thunderstorms lately, and I realized how much Hollingsworth hates them! He was hiding in corners, under chairs, and in an attempt to capture the moment, Nathan took this picture. Yes, Hollingsworth managed to flatten himself to pancake-width to get under this chair, but the weirdest thing is that you only see a reflection of his eyes! My friend Kelly was really creeped out when I told her the story. What do you think? :)

Wild Weekend

Hollingsworth is his cute usual self, but on Friday night, he got sick and I had no idea what was going on! After quite a few rounds of throwing up (sorry, not trying to be gross) I noticed a contact lens by this feet. Hpainful! I feel bad for the little guy, that would be really difficult to extract (and how did he even get around an old contact?). Luckily, all is well and he filled our weekend with cuteness, cuddles, and laughter!

Interesting Day

My mom was around a lot more today. I was confused, but happy! She mentioned trouble with a tire, but I was just happy I could look out the front window for awhile before she closed it. :) I really love watching all the squirrels and other activities that go on outside (as you can tell from below). In fact, I took a great nap on the chair with my front paws stretched out. It's a tiring job!

First post about "H"

This is a blog I've set up for my favorite Doctor who LOVES her little "guy" :-)

I hope you enjoy this Emily!!!
